The Porsche Cayman GT4 will soon be offered with an optional PDK available alongside the standard six-speed manual gearbox.
When the highly desirable GT4 version of the Cayman came out earlier this year in Geneva, the Stuttgart-based automaker said it would be available only with a six-speed manual but now they have decided to add the PDK as an option as well, probably due to strong customer demand. The reveal was made by none other than the company's GT boss Andreas Preuninger in an interview with a member of the Planet-9 forums.
An official announcement is expected to occur very soon and obviously the PDK-equipped Cayman GT4 will be a tad more expensive than the manual version which kicks off at €85,779 in Germany and at $84,600 in United States.
During the same interview, Preuninger said there won't be a more hardcore GT4 RS version, at least not in this generation.
