Rolls Royce debuts hard top version of Phantom drophead
The original Phantom drophead was specifically designed to have a soft roof instead of a folding hard roof as chief designer Ian Cameron believed this was an "unclear proposition", explaining that Rolls Royce drivers would not be interested in a "convertible that looks like a coupe".
To satisfy customers who admire the sleek lines of the car but would prefer to have a solid top, the company has now decided to sell a hard roofed version of the popular vehicle, which is capable of reaching speeds of up to 149 miles per hour.
